Former Browns OL joins 49ers

With most NFL rookie minicamps in progress or completed, a return of activity in NFL free agency has begun. After the initial waves of free agency, teams spent a lot of time preparing for the NFL draft. Now that drafted and undrafted free agents have had a chance to show teams what they look like on the field, a few veterans have found homes in the past week.

One is former Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Chris Hubbard.

Hubbard spent five seasons with the Browns including 35 starts in 46 games. While he never solidified himself as a starter, Hubbard’s openness about mental health in an exclusive interview with DBN along with his role as a locker-room leader has shown his character.
